Partner and Managing Director
Peter Adams is a Partner & Managing Director in the Brussels office of The Boston Consulting Group. He joined BCG in 1999 and leads BCG's Financial Institutions Practice for Belgium and Luxemburg.
Over the last 14 years Peter has worked on a broad range of assignments in Retail and Private Banking, both in Belgium and abroad. Peter has built a particularly deep expertise in topics related to branch network transformations and operating model design for Western-European banks.
His recent project experience includes:
Major transformation programs (network footprint and format, customer segmentation, front-to-back review of operations)
Design and implementation of multi-channel strategies (contact strategy, customer pathways, IT and infrastructure requirements, organizational set-up of direct channels and processes)
Post-merger integration of two universal Banks
Target Operating Model design (including front-to-back review of processes)
Multiple lean assignments (commercial credits, mortgages, cards, ...)
Multiple sales force effectiveness assignments (Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Private Banking)
Development of growth strategies (consumer finance, on-line brokerage, SME segment)
Peter holds an MBA from INSEAD (France & Singapore - 2004) and a MSc in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he was a Chevening Scholar in 1999. Peter also graduated in Economics from Ghent University in 1998.
