Mr.Issa first joined CIB in 1993, where he built a successful track record as a corporate and investment banker serving the bank’s largest corporate clients. In the following years, Mr. Issa’s took on a series of leadership roles across corporate, investment and consumer banking businesses. Through these roles, he delivered proven results in corporate restructuring and turnaround, re-engineering, and launching new businesses.
In 2009, Under Mr. Issa’s leadership, CI Capital investment banking division ranked ninth in the middle east and first in Egypt on the M&A League Table published by Thomson-Reuters. He was selected to serve as co-chair of the investments and capital markets committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Cairo (2009-13).
As a Fulbright scholar, Mr. Issa completed postgraduate studies at Harvard University in 1997, and subsequently interned at Merrill Lynch in New York. He earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration at UNC-Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2003, and subsequently rejoined CIB as head of strategic planning.
