How Can Face-to-Face Video Banking Enable a More Efficient Digital Transformation?

Online banking, mobile applications, chat, social media… The growing success of digital technologies to enable interactions between the banks and their customers is raising a new challenge. Indeed, while customers are embracing digital banking channels, they are at the same time requesting a level of attention, care and advice that almost only traditional branches can offer.

High quality face-to-face video collaboration is a very promising way to overcome this challenge as it preserves all the benefits of remote banking while enabling lifelike real-time interactions between customers and bank representatives to maintain a strong and meaningful relationship. Moreover, it can also enable new use cases such as involving a remote subject matter expert in a customer meeting or enriching the ATM experience.

That’s why today many banks are evaluating or already launching video banking services as a component of their digital transformation.
